We’re excited to bring you this charming and whimsical light-up Christmas craft duo! ✨
Kids will create an adorable Snowman Night Light, while their adult partner makes a cozy Christmas Lantern!
And don’t worry—this isn’t just for moms!
Dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and guardians are all welcome! Just sign up with a child age 8 or older and come enjoy some festive creative fun together. 🎄
In fact, this “Mommy & Me” event is open to everyone—parents with grown kids, couples, siblings, and best friends, too! If you love holiday crafting and making memories, this workshop is for you. ❤️

What is Resin Art?
Resin art is a captivating mixed-media art form that involves the fusion of colored glass pieces, shards, and crushed glass with a liquid resin. This combination results in a smooth, glossy, three-dimensional piece of artwork. The resin serves as a clear, protective layer, accentuating the texture, depth, and reflective qualities of the glass, while also binding the glass pieces together on surfaces such as canvas or board.
Our guest instructor will be Yvonne Wimmenauer, the owner of Sassy Glass.
What to Expect
Students will create a resin art project, incorporating glass and wood pieces. Afterward, they will apply a layer of tabletop resin to the piece.
Since the artwork cannot be moved for several hours after the resin is poured, it will need to remain in the studio overnight to complete the curing process. Students can collect their artwork the next day.
Notes:
- Students will be working with glass. It is generally not sharp, but should still be handled with care.
- We will be working with PPE resin, so a mask and gloves will be provided.
- All supplies will be included, so just bring yourself.
