Intro to Needle Felting
1st Saturday of Each Month
In this 3-hour class, you will learn how to use felting needles and natural fibers (sheep and alpaca fleeces) to make basic shapes. You will use these shapes to create a simple needle felted project to take home and enjoy. (See projects list below)
This class is recommended before taking any of our Level 1 Needle Felting Projects classes.

- March 2nd, 1 pm – 4 pm – Spring Bird
- April 6th, 3 pm – 6 pm – Stemmed Flowers (Class Cancelled)
- May 4th, 3 pm – 6 pm – Potted Cactus (Google “needle felted cactus” and click on images for examples)
- June 1st, 3 pm – 6 pm – Miniature 3D landscape (Must bring a small vessel that is roughly 3-4 inches in diameter. Examples: coffee cup, tea cup, small basket, candle h#older, etc. Antique dishes are really cute for this project. Can also use small containers made of metal, wood, wire, etc. Final project can be used as a pin cushion – (Google “needle felted landscape in a cup” and click on images for examples)

Who:
This class is for adults and teens, ages 16 and up, who have never done any needle felting and want to learn the basics.

- You take home what you make.
- Needle felting tools are available for purchase if you want your own kit.
