Curriculum-Based Art Classes for Homeschoolers!
For ages 8-11 years
Curriculum-based art classes allow homeschool students to explore color, value, texture, shape, line, and form through a progression of art lessons and projects.
Your child will learn about the fundamentals of art using mediums such as, watercolor, acrylic, graphite, and colored pencil.
In these curriculum-based art classes, the lessons will be adapted to meet the needs of each child in the classroom.
Fall Semester Curriculum

| Week 5 (Nov 7) | Introduction to Color & Texture with Colored Pencil (colored pencil cat) |

| Week 7 (Nov 21) | Finish Colored Pencil cat |
| Week 8 (Dec 5) | Watercolor (Jingle Bells) |
| Week 9 (Dec 12) | Form-based art (papier mâché) |
| Week 10 (Dec 19) | Form-based art (finish papier mâché) |

| Week 9 (Mar 13) | Form-based art (clay) |
| Week 10 (Mar 20) | Finishing clay project |
| Week 11 (Apr 3) | Cutting & Pasting (Matisse) |
| Week 12 (Apr 10) | Lines (Mandala) |
| Week 13 (Apr 17) | Free expression project using skills they learned this year |
| Week 14 (Apr 24) | Finish free expression project |
